• Work with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and build the latest and greatest in Chaos Engineering tooling • Leverage strong collaboration and communication skills to deliver new features within a remote culture • Actively mentor and grow your teammates • Care deeply about the customer experienceThe Senior Software Engineer at Gremlin will be responsible for developing and maintaining Chaos Engineering tooling, as well as working closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and build the latest and greatest in Chaos Engineering tooling. • They will also have experience in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Lambda, and Serverless. • In addition, they should have experience in other cloud technologies, such as Google, Oracle, and DynamoDB.
• 3+ years professional Java software engineering experience • Experience in cloud technologies: e.g., AWS, Lambda, Serverless • Experience with other cloud technologies like Google, Oracle also considered • Experience in DynamoDB and/or other no-sql DB is preferred or should be experienced in any major relational databases • Experience in infrastructure & systems level technologies: e.g., Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, is a huge plus • Self-driven and collaborative problem solver with strong communication skills • Experience with agile development environments and practices • Experience with CI/CD, and engineering best practices • Experience with Rust & Systems Level Programming • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks & web development practices • Experience taking features from concept to full production release
