Description

• Whether you have a Systems or Software Engineering background, we are seeking Junior SREs that are willing for the following: • Deploy and configure cloud-native infrastructure and services using an Infrastructure as Code approach. • Contribute to the implementation of fault-tolerant, scalable and distributed services. • Develop automation tools, CI/CD pipelines to make deployments faster and more robust. • Troubleshoot problems and handle incidents.

Requirements

• Interest and curiosity for large scale system administration, using modern principles: DevOps, SRE, IaC, Self-Service Operations. • Curiosity and a strong eagerness to learn new things, understand the inner workings of computer systems ("under the hood"), and apply this understanding to solve real-world problems. • Experience with Linux and Git. • Knowledge of at least one (1) programming language. We mainly use Python. • Working-level Proficiency in Greek. The role involves communication with Greek-speaking stakeholders and teams. • At least one (1) year of proven work experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role. • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field, or currently completing such a degree with expected graduation soon. • Related personal projects or contributions to open-source projects.
