📋 Description

• Develop and implement back-end solutions using Java and/or Kotlin • Take full ownership of the software development lifecycle, from implementation and unit testing to deployment and monitoring • Identify opportunities to improve existing applications and implement continuous enhancements • Actively participate in technical decisions, working autonomously with a sense of ownership over the products • Ensure code quality through practices such as code reviews and pair programming • Explore and apply new technologies relevant to the projects • Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript • Strong experience with front-end frameworks • Solid experience with architectural patterns such as Design Systems • Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot • Experience with microservices and REST APIs • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) • Knowledge of distributed and event-driven architecture • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience with Git and code review practices • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) • Experience with application monitoring and observability • Ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues • Critical mindset regarding performance and security • Experience with managed services such as RDS, DynamoDB, Cloud Storage, API Gateway and CloudFront • Strong focus on software quality, system evolution, problem decomposition and abstraction • Knowledge of serverless and AWS Lambda, including best practices for cold start, observability and cost • High capacity to learn new practices, technologies, programming languages and engineering cultures • Knowledge of application security (OWASP Top 10, OAuth and JWT) • Proficiency with Git or another collaborative version control system • Ability to perform root cause analysis on software issues • Ability to work in a team and help refine technical stories • Knowledge of cloud architecture (GCP/AWS) • Familiarity with information security standards and practices (encryption, session management and access control) • Knowledge of quality best practices such as TDD, unit testing and BDD
