📋 Description

• Develop and publish research-driven insights on the present and future trajectory of AI and broader technology markets • Identify market winners and losers within critical technology races • Assess market hierarchies and evaluate technology vendors using market intelligence and quantitative analysis • Compile foundational insights for Market Share and Forecast Analysis publications • Interact with clients regarding market share, segmentation, and sizing methodologies • Articulate competitive dynamics and apply findings to annual and strategic planning initiatives • Collect, document, and maintain comprehensive vendor and market data • Ensure data accuracy and alignment between vendors and their products or services • Support Gartner’s Market Share development and delivery • Translate quantitative market insights into actionable intelligence for senior executives and technology leaders

🎯 Requirements

• BE/B.Tech + MBA, or a post-graduate degree with a background in IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience • Foundational experience in research and data analysis • Strong interest in global IT markets and economic trends • Highly numerate with exceptional critical thinking skills • Ability to grasp market fundamentals and growth drivers quickly • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI • Working knowledge of business databases such as Factiva, Capital IQ, and Crunchbase • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate complex data into clear, fact-based narratives • Strong ownership and attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural global team • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset • Eagerness to learn, participate in foundational training, and engage in thought leadership discussions • Ability to explain market context and complex quantitative insights to senior executives in written and verbal form
