• Active sales and marketing of Hapag-Lloyd's services, with a focus on export to the Far East • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, while also acquiring new customers • Evaluate customer potential and create sales plans for the assigned customer segment using MR Sales methodology • Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on customer performance, market trends, and competitor activities • Organize sales activities and oversee business development using QlikView and Salesforce • Coordinate transport quotations and handle global and local tenders in collaboration with the Sales Coordination team • Establish and promote a push/pull sales process with other Hapag-Lloyd areas and regions • Collaborate closely with the Area's Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations
• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable degree • Several years of professional experience in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry, preferably in an external sales/sales role in the export business, with a focus on the Asia Trade • A sales-oriented mindset, with strong negotiation and closing skills • Self-initiative, resilience, and excellent communication abilities • Analytical, systematic, and efficient work style • High affinity for digital products and willingness to adapt to new technologies • Excellent written and spoken German, and good English language skills • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-driven mindset
