Description

• Lead and nurture a world-class engineering team, overseeing hiring, training, and performance management. • Develop and implement engineering strategies and policies to optimize team performance and value throughput. • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to align engineering efforts with business goals and user needs. • Partner with your product manager to create a roadmap that accounts for tech investments while driving business outcomes. • Define, measure, and report on key performance indicators, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making. • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA/SOC2 standards for data security and privacy. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that arise during development. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our products and services.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers across a diverse range of skill sets and experience levels. • Prior experience building highly available SaaS apps with similar feature sets to an EHR or CRM type of product. • Proven success in implementing agile and continuous delivery practices. • Relevant experience as a Software Engineer building scalable, mission-critical applications. • Managed rapid scaling of engineering teams in a startup environment, including distributed remote teams. • Established a strong culture of security and privacy within engineering teams and the company. • Extensive experience with emerging and cloud-based technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred). • Proficient in managing all aspects of development, including Frontend, Backend, QA, SRE, DevOps, etc. • Strong technical skills, with knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and techniques. • Excellent leadership skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking in a fast-paced, agile environment. • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
