📋 Description

• Handle reconciliation of high-volume and high-value accounts, including accrued sales tax, bank clearing accounts, accrued inventory purchases, and prepaids • Reconcile daily cash flow reporting and monthly bank statements • File and follow up on chargebacks and outstanding uncashed checks • Import credit card transactions and reconcile at month-end • Develop, document, and implement improved reconciliation procedures and policies • Ensure reconciliations comply with internal controls and external audit requirements • Provide documentation and explanations during audits • Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortizations, and reclassifications • Prepare data and documents for sales tax and VAT filings and reconcile related accounts • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to provide data support and ensure accurate financial reporting • Support special projects and ad-hoc reporting • Oversee and calculate royalty reporting for multiple licensing contracts • Reconcile marketing costs and coordinate with marketing to calculate cost per acquisition (CPA) • Ensure revenue is posted for Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Central, and multiple retail accounts • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure accurate invoicing and oversee accounts receivable collections • Analyze financial data and prepare management reports with the finance team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP • CPA preferred • Some public accounting experience is a plus. • Proficiency with ERP accounting software (experience with NetSuite a plus) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formulas, processing large amounts of data) • Excellent communication skills • Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries • Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency. • Someone who proactively helps others, stays positive and has a good sense of humor.
