📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries including accruals, amortization, and allocations • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes • Record rental income and tenant billings • Prepare and reconcile CAM and tenant recoveries • Track prepaid expenses, security deposits, and escrows • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records • Monitor rent collections and AR aging • Assist with delinquency reporting and follow-up • Review and process property-related invoices • Prepare property-level financial statements • Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis • Assist in annual budget preparation and reforecasting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 2–5 years accounting experience; real estate preferred • Knowledge of property accounting principles • Experience with Yardi Voyager or comparable property accounting software • Experience booking equity entries and intercompany transactions • Understanding of entity hierarchies and their accounting treatment across real estate ownership structures • Comfortable with fixed asset accounting and depreciation methodologies • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling
