• Advise and consult with clients on products and services to meet traveler needs and their company travel policies; • Prepare quotes, make reservations, and issue tickets for domestic and international travel (air, hotel, car rental, coach/bus, and travel insurance) on supplier portals, OBTs (Online Booking Tools), and in the GDS; • Manage rebookings and cancellations for domestic and international travel (air, hotel, car rental, coach/bus, and travel insurance) on supplier portals, OBTs (Online Booking Tools), and in the GDS; • Enter sales in OBTs (Online Booking Tools); • Request passenger and hotel registrations and updates from the Systems Support team, helping to keep information current and complete; • Book or purchase ancillary services related to air tickets (seat selection/purchase, baggage purchase, pet booking, etc.); • Create reimbursement requests for the internal team responsible for processing refunds; • Assist in the development of the Junior Travel Consultant in carrying out their activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or a related field (completed); • Minimum 3 years’ experience with GDS systems, preferably Sabre; • Minimum 3 years’ experience with OBTs (Online Booking Tools), preferably Argo, Reserve, Lemontech and/or Concur; • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; • Intermediate English; • Familiarity with ticketing/helpdesk systems is a plus.
