Description

• Build automation, tooling, and monitoring for datastore optimization • Build datastore clients for efficient monitoring and analysis • Maintain operational responsibility over data stores • Mentor less experienced engineers • Assist product engineers with tooling for Hadoop and Spark • Educate on effective data storage and interaction • Participate in on-call rotation and DevOps practices • Write Java REST APIs for diagnostic data and auditing • Investigate advanced batch processing issues • Ensure engineering teams meet performance metrics and SLAs

Requirements

• Proficiency in open source technologies like MySQL, Vitess, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Kafka, and Elastic Search • Experience with data processing and big data technologies • Ability to handle a large volume of traffic • Strong mentoring and leadership skills • Knowledge of Java and REST APIs • Familiarity with Microservices architecture and streaming data stores
