Human Trafficking Institute is a nonprofit organization that fights international human trafficking by targeting traffickers through law-enforcement capacity building, prosecution support, embedded experts, and data-driven tools. HTI partners with prosecutors, police, and justice systems to arrest, charge, and convict traffickers, freeing current victims and preventing future exploitation. The organization raises funds, publishes research, and provides training and technical assistance to scale enforcement-based solutions and strengthen criminal justice responses.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and schedule trainings • Create, monitor, and manage registration platform • Report attendance • Provide on-site administration support during trainings • Ensure all training activities comply with Texas Occupations Code, TCOLE rules, and Texas Administrative Code provisions • Monitor TCOLE rules to ensure timely implementation within HTI • Serve as subject-matter resource on TCOLE standards • Assign instructors in conjunction with the State Director • Verify instructor credentials, licenses, and eligibility to teach assigned courses • Enforce attendance standards, testing and evaluation integrity, and documentation requirements • Maintain training records • Create and disseminate training flyers to partner agencies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • 3 years’ experience as TCOLE Training Coordinator or working in a training department at a Texas law enforcement agency • Experience assisting an agency to become a TCOLE Training Provider, preferred • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, preferred • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) • Proficient in Canva, preferred • TCOLE Basic Instructor Certificate or ability to obtain
