📋 Description

• Develop and lead technical teams delivering quality products on time • Collaborate with technical leaders to ensure a cohesive product suite • Foster a high-performing culture grounded in engineering excellence, security, and agility • Align the team with a prioritized backlog and contribute to technical solutions • Help define user stories reflecting product vision • Lead adherence to and implementation of the software development lifecycle • Identify and communicate potential roadblocks • Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance • Remove barriers to enable team productivity • Execute and continuously improve department processes, standards, and benchmarks • Assess team and individual performance against quality metrics • Hold direct reports accountable for performance standards • Manage hiring, compensation, employee relations, performance feedback, and coaching • Support team members' personal and professional growth • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues • Provide guidance, resolve obstacles, and contribute to department growth and quality

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Four or more years in AI • Prior software engineering experience • Demonstrated people or technical leadership • Core knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts • Hands-on experience with relevant tools and frameworks • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies • Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and accountability in managing budgets • Excellent leadership, judgment, and business acumen • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills • Proficiency with CI/CD principles • Experience with Microsoft operating systems and products, including Microsoft Outlook or equivalent tools • Strong facilitation, project management, and organizational skills • Ability to develop and deliver presentations using data analytics and presentation tools • Python • PyTorch • Machine Learning libraries • XGBoost • Large Language Models (LLMs) • Transformers • Data Science experimentation • Model hosting • Model evaluation • RAGAS
