Description

• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures related to green border security • Provide subject matter expertise to support the design and implementation of border security technologies and systems • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for improving green border security initiatives • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in green border security and provide recommendations for incorporating best practices • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement training programs for border security personnel • Support the development of proposals and presentations to communicate project objectives and methodologies to clients and stakeholders • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of green border security programs and systems and make recommendations for improvements • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to green border security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Border Security, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, International Relations) OR equivalent experience in border security operations or related field • Minimum 5 years experience in border security related operations. • Demonstrated experience as a front-line officer and/or supervisor of frontier area operations with foreign or domestic border patrol. International experience and experience in Special Operations Group (SOG) units, such as Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) and Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC) is preferred. • Experience preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods, and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband.
