Description

• To support the company’s growth, we seek a Sales Manager, to join our Global Government Solutions Sales team. • Utilize your successful experience in exploring new markets and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities. • Lead generation and management of the existing sales pipeline will be your responsibility, along with the development of key relationships within Government agencies. Additionally, you will leverage your existing network to identify and close opportunities. • Work closely with the Strategic Account Manager(s) in your region to develop long-term sales pipeline and client success strategies. • Your primary focus will be on selling SAR-derived monitoring solutions, providing government organizations with quick emergency recovery response capabilities. • You will have a unique focus on selling solutions to all governmental organizations in Europe. • In the future, there may be potential to sell SAR Data products to Pan European Government organizations when the need arises. • Collaborate closely with various PAN European Government Agencies throughout your Region, including but not limited to: Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies in Europe, the European Space Agency (ESA), Copernicus Emergency Services, and other potential partners.

Requirements

• You will possess extensive expertise in Government Sales specifically within the European market • You will have a proven track record in successfully selling GIS data and solutions to European Governments. • You will need to showcase a proven ability to confidently identify, strategically target, and expertly penetrate untapped markets across Europe • Proven track record of successfully working with Government Services and a strong network of contacts • Demonstrated ability to expand and manage a sales portfolio, consistently closing deals with governmental clients • Driven by self-motivation, proactivity, and an independent work style, thriving in fast-paced environments and providing exceptional support during emergency situations • Extensive experience in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5-7 years in the field • Adaptable to working remotely and frequent travel, ensuring no disruptions in delivering outstanding service • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Experience of working with Eastern European Organisations and Governments would be significantly beneficial • Background in selling SAR related products or solutions • Experience working with Civil Protection Services / Disaster Response Organisations would be a plus • Strong network at the European Commission and/or ESA • Preferred experience in geospatial or emergency management • Strong network at Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies throughout the European Region, Copernicus Emergency Services, and/or other potential partners • Nice to have: strong network at PAN European organizations (like EMSA, Frontex and SatCen) who are/could be buying SAR images & solutions • Ability to communicate in multiple languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish)
