• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science (Computer Engineering), Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification • Background in microtechnology (e.g., CMOS, MEMS, photonics), chip design or systems engineering • Several years of professional experience in your field, for example as a process engineer, chip designer or in the development of embedded HW/SW systems • Ideally, experience with both research institutions and commercial companies and contacts with key stakeholders in your field • Willingness to travel for business, e.g., for trade show appearances or events (including occasional weekends if required) within Germany and across Europe (approx. 20% travel) • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Exciting role: A highly meaningful and varied position contributing to strengthening Germany's and Europe's technological location. • Efficient collaboration: An interdisciplinary team of experienced experts with short decision-making paths, quick decisions and strong support. • We take your needs seriously: We support the best possible reconciliation of work and private life through flexible working hours and hybrid working. • Personal contact matters: Structured onboarding to help you expand your network and settle in well. • Alternative work locations (e.g., Duisburg, Dresden) can be arranged by agreement, provided regular presence in Berlin (approx. twice a month) can be guaranteed. • The weekly working time is 39 hours. • The position can also be filled part-time. • The position is initially limited to two years. An extension is intended. • Employment, remuneration and social benefits are based on the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).
