Description
• Immutable’s Game Studio's mission is to develop and launch world-changing games that use blockchain. • Looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team, Game Integrations. • Responsible for supporting the Immutable Game Studio flagship games, Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians, in adopting innovative web3 technologies. • Deliver high-impact products and components necessary to facilitate an NFT and blockchain-driven video game. • Pragmatic in engineering choices and experienced in shipping scalable, high-quality products.
Requirements
• 5+ years of deep full-stack engineering experience with exposure to product development environments • Extensive experience with backend integrations, APIs and microservices • Strong understanding and previous experience ensuring CLEAN / SOLID principles • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services • Strong communication skills enabling collaboration with multi-disciplined teams • An iterative mindset, highly adaptable to change • Demonstrated interest in new technologies, blockchain or gaming • Ability to take a product from a high-level design specification to a fully implemented solution • Proven ability to take something relatively unknown, find the answers / solve problems, and release a finished product. • Ability to build from existing code and modularise it into reusable products • Proven interest and ability to upskill in a short period of time • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
