πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Respond to support requests received by email and telephone β€’ Perform initial investigation, troubleshooting and ticket triage β€’ Escalate incidents to senior engineers when required β€’ Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet customer SLAs β€’ Maintain accurate and professional ticket records β€’ Participate in customer communications via email, telephone, video calls and screen-sharing sessions β€’ Contribute to and utilise our internal knowledge base and operational procedures β€’ Participate in a rota-based support service, including weekend cover

🎯 Requirements

β€’ At least 2 years' experience providing remote IT support to business customers β€’ Experience supporting Microsoft-based business environments β€’ Excellent written and spoken English communication skills β€’ Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities β€’ Experience working within a structured support or service desk environment β€’ A methodical and security-conscious approach to technical support β€’ Technical Knowledge β€’ You should have practical experience with: β€’ Microsoft 365, including Teams and core Office applications β€’ SharePoint Online and OneDrive β€’ Exchange Online administration and email troubleshooting β€’ Microsoft Entra ID user administration, including awareness of hybrid identity environments β€’ Windows 11 endpoint support β€’ Experience supporting Apple operating systems β€’ Apple iPhone and Android device support β€’ Basic Windows Server administration, patching and monitoring β€’ Networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, routing, switching and firewall troubleshooting β€’ Backup and recovery concepts and best practice β€’ Modern cyber security principles and secure operational processes β€’ Desirable Skills and Experience β€’ The following would be advantageous but are not essential: β€’ Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) β€’ Microsoft certifications beyond MS-900 and AZ-900 β€’ Experience with Acronis products β€’ Familiarity with Google Workspace β€’ Knowledge of UK data protection and compliance requirements β€’ Personal Qualities β€’ Successful candidates are likely to be: β€’ Collaborative and supportive team players β€’ Professional, polite and responsive communicators β€’ Confident in explaining technical concepts to non-technical users β€’ Curious and proactive problem-solvers β€’ Well organised and able to manage competing priorities β€’ Detail-oriented and diligent in following process β€’ Motivated to learn and develop their technical knowledge
