Description

• Lead a software engineering team to shipping quality software in a predictable manner • Define tasks and milestones with the delivery team • Work closely with the product team to ensure we have a roadmap supported by engineering • Develop team's skills to ensure preparedness for difficult engineering challenges • Manage contributions of a remote team of engineers to ensure productivity • Establish quarterly PI objectives • Maintain high standards of software quality • Provide detailed guidance on work assignments • Build credibility and trust with stakeholders • Responsible for team health, happiness, and productivity • Measure individual contributions and address underperformance • Guide and mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science is desirable but not essential • 10+ years of experience in software development • Experience with software engineering practices including release management, test automation, and quality assurance. • Knowledge of Rust and Blockchain technologies • 3+ years as a team leader or manager • Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms • Experience with Agile software development
