Description

• Senior Software Engineer role • Create and implement web-based products using PHP and Go or Node.js • Work with leading brands and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning technologies • Handling an average of 2.2 billion requests and almost 2 billion instant notifications per day • Working with more than 100 TB of historical data • Located in Istanbul and Ankara offices • Building and maintaining APIs and services • Collaborating with other engineers and teams to build new features at scale • Debugging issues across services and multiple levels of the stack • Monitoring performance, throughput, latency, and SLA • Graduated from Computer Engineering or a similar department • 5+ years of experience in building and operating highly available APIs • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in a production environment • Good knowledge of event-driven architecture or microservices • Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle • Experience with AWS and related technologies • Experience with Kubernetes and machine learning platforms • Advanced English skills

Requirements

• Graduated from Computer Engineering or a similar department • Experience developing services using Scala, Go, Python, and Node.js • 5+ years of experience in building and operating highly available APIs • Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases in a production environment • Good knowledge in developing or managing event-driven architecture or microservices • Good knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and deployments • Preferably experience with AWS and related technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, SQS • Preferably experience with Kubernetes • Preferably experience with machine learning platforms • Advanced English skills
