Description

• The Foundations data science team at Instacart is responsible for developing and innovating world-class experimentation tools and causal inference measurement systems • Looking for a staff level data scientist with expertise in experimentation and causal inference to join the team • Have substantial exposure to c-level stakeholders • Devise strategy and roadmap for adaptive experimentation initiatives • Consult on challenging statistical topics for the greater DS community

Requirements

• At least 8 years work experience • ~3 years building experimental tools at scale on a major app/platform • Expert in experimentation and causal inference techniques • Strong communication skills, public speaking and presentation skills highly desirable • Desire to code every day in SQL/R/Python • Previous experience with dbt nice-to-have • MA required, Ph.D preferred
