📋 Description

• Professional responsibility for accounting preparation and timely, final-ready monthly closes • Gradual insourcing of the currently externally managed accounting • Significant involvement in the NetSuite implementation, including process design, data migration and system logic • Reporting to the management team and the SAMY Group • Professional support and development of the accounting team • Establishment of processes and structures for insourcing and NetSuite • Shaping the automation and reporting layer

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of in-depth accounting experience in ongoing operations as well as in building and improving robust processes • Solid closing expertise under HGB (German GAAP) • University degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, or completed Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant) qualification with equivalent extensive professional experience • Understanding of profit & loss, balance sheet and double-entry bookkeeping • Excellent IT skills • Confident user of Excel and Google Sheets • Ideally SQL user skills • Mandatory experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, both in process design and in operational use • Confident stakeholder management and ability to prioritize competing requirements • Business fluent in German and English • Confident, realistic and efficient use of AI tools • Ability to independently structure dynamic situations • Ability to provide technical leadership without direct personnel responsibility • Strong hands-on mentality • Independent, structured, reliable and results-oriented working style in a remote setup
