📋 Description

• Take professional responsibility for preparation of bookkeeping and monthly closings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and readiness for final closing • Gradually insource bookkeeping currently handled externally • Play a major role in the planned NetSuite implementation (around 2027) • Design processes, migrate data and define system logic for NetSuite • Report to management and the parent company, SAMY Group • Provide subject-matter expertise and continue developing the accounting team • Build the foundational processes, structure, automation and reporting for the insourcing and NetSuite initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of deep accounting experience in day‑to‑day operations as well as in developing and scaling robust processes • Confident in preparing financial statements under HGB; able to produce or prepare closing-ready work for the tax advisor • Degree in business/economics with a focus on accounting, or completed Bilanzbuchhalter qualification with equivalent extensive professional experience • Strong understanding of profit & loss, balance sheet and double-entry bookkeeping • Excellent IT skills • Confident use of Excel and Google Sheets • Ideally, user-level SQL skills • Mandatory experience with ERP systems—ideally NetSuite—both in process design and in operational use • Confident stakeholder management and ability to prioritize competing requests and meet tight deadlines • Business‑level proficiency in German and English (negotiation-level) • Confident and pragmatic use of AI tools • Ability to structure and manage dynamic situations independently • Capability to provide technical leadership without direct personnel responsibility • High tolerance for hands‑on work • Independent, structured, reliable and results-oriented work style in a remote setup
