📋 Description

• Inspect and certify pressure equipment and piping in accordance with European Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) • Perform analytical and, where applicable, numerical assessments, including strength and stability calculations for complex pressure vessels, piping systems, and other pressure-bearing plant components subject to inspection • Review piping classes and calculate the load-bearing capacity and strength of piping systems (PSA) • Apply recognized codes and standards as well as national and international standards, including AD2000, EN 13445, EN 13480, and ASME • Assess material suitability and planned manufacturing processes, including welding design and code-compliant construction • Work with calculation programs such as ROHR2, PROBAD, and Rohr2fesu, as well as FEM software such as Ansys • Review and assess individual technical assessments, such as PMAs, for materials used • Where applicable, conduct surveillance and quality assurance audits during the manufacture of pressure equipment • Prepare technical documentation, inspection and acceptance reports, safety assessments, and expert reports

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, process engineering, or a comparable qualification • Extensive experience with European Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) and the associated codes, technical regulations, guidelines, and harmonized standards • Extensive experience in the design and strength calculation of pressure equipment, including structural integrity and stability assessments • Experience and knowledge in the acceptance testing of pressure equipment and assemblies is an advantage • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials engineering, and welding technology is an advantage • Knowledge of surveillance and quality assurance audits (ISO 9001/PED/etc.) is an advantage • Excellent written and spoken German and English • Willingness to travel • Comprehensive application documents, including a CV and cover letter • Please state your earliest possible start date and salary expectations
