Description

• Oversee daily activities related to automated test preparation and execution • Collaborate closely with the QA Team Lead and development team • Analyze test results, identify and document defects, validate bug fixes • Automate existing and new functionalities using Selenium WebDriver • Create and execute test deliverables • Evangelize quality assurance and test automation within the team • Develop and enhance automation frameworks • Implement best practices and coding standards • Incorporate design patterns to promote reusability and readability • Execute team's quality assurance strategy and plans • Create test cases with traceability back to requirements • Clarify acceptance criteria through examples • Automate existing manual test cases • Perform required testing automation preparation/execution activities • Support QA Lead as required • Map test cases to business requirements and designs

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in automation testing, including writing and running automation scripts • Deep knowledge of software development tools, including source code management tools and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Agile methodologies • Experience with Java • Experience with Selenium • Experience with cloud environments, including at least one of AWS, GCP or Azure • Experience identifying appropriate test scenarios, including any relevant edge and error cases • Experience with Test Rail – Test case management tool • Experience working remotely with a team distributed across multiple time zones • Experience with using communication tools like Slack and Teams • Desired but not essential - Experience with security testing tools.
