📋 Description

• Process, classify, and validate aerial LiDAR and point cloud data for utility and power infrastructure projects. • Analyze large-scale spatial and 3D datasets. • Extract and model utility assets, including power lines, conductors, poles, towers, vegetation, and ground features. • Identify and address data-quality issues. • Work on GIS and LiDAR projects for infrastructure and utility applications.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience with LiDAR / point cloud processing. • Hands-on experience with point cloud classification and QA/QC. • Experience working with 3D spatial data. • Experience with feature extraction from LiDAR data. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data-quality issues. • Basic/intermediate GIS knowledge. • Nice to have: Experience with utility, power transmission, or distribution data. • Nice to have: Experience with aerial LiDAR. • Nice to have: Experience working with conductors, poles/towers, vegetation, and ground classes. • Nice to have: Understanding of conductor/catenary modeling and clearance analysis. • Nice to have: Experience with PLS-CADD, TerraSolid/TerraScan, or MicroStation. • Nice to have: Experience with utility asset modeling or powerline mapping.
