📋 Description

• Process, classify, and validate aerial LiDAR and point cloud data • Analyze large-scale spatial and 3D datasets for utility and power infrastructure projects • Extract and model utility assets, including power lines, conductors, poles, towers, vegetation, and ground features • Identify and address data-quality issues through QA/QC activities • Work on infrastructure and utility projects as part of Intetics Inc.'s GIS and LiDAR team

🎯 Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience with LiDAR / point cloud processing • Hands-on experience with point cloud classification and QA/QC • Experience working with 3D spatial data • Experience with feature extraction from LiDAR data • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data-quality issues • Basic/intermediate GIS knowledge • Experience with utility, power transmission, or distribution data (Nice to Have) • Experience with aerial LiDAR (Nice to Have) • Experience working with conductors, poles/towers, vegetation, and ground classes (Nice to Have) • Understanding of conductor/catenary modeling and clearance analysis (Nice to Have) • Experience with PLS-CADD, TerraSolid/TerraScan, or MicroStation (Nice to Have) • Experience with utility asset modeling or powerline mapping (Nice to Have)
