📋 Description

• Answer inbound calls and respond to patient enquiries in a timely and courteous manner • Verify patient insurance information, personal information, and co-payments • Schedule and reschedule appointments using the scheduling system • Provide patients with information on services • Input and update patient information in the scheduling system with precision and attention to detail • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, medical needs, and preferences

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional English communication skills • Strong work ethic • Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills • Critical thinking, particularly when interpreting insurance details and making informed decisions • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Ability to display empathy and patience in addressing customer concerns • Familiarity with US Healthcare Insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, is an added benefit • Must work 5-day rotating shifts during USA hours (EST), Monday–Sunday, including night shifts • Must work on both South African and U.S. public holidays • Mandatory fixed fibre line with minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speeds and wired Ethernet capability; Rain, LTE, 5G, or similar connections are not acceptable • Reliable backup power solution required for load shedding and outages, such as UPS, inverter, or solar
