Description

• Design and build customer-facing and internal APIs • Collaborate directly with the development team to amplify and optimize their workflows • User cutting-edge research projects from proof-of-concept to production • Implement customer-facing and internal projects and participate in their design • Design efficient and tailored solutions by applying appropriate software engineering patterns and principles • Adopt, understand, and propose relevant enhancements to our existing codebases and systems • Deploy infrastructure, automation, and monitoring of systems and services • Develop or leverage an understanding of adjacent technologies and their merits and demerits

Requirements

• 3+ years experience programming in Python • Experience developing within Linux environments • Systems programming experience (operating systems, process-parallelism, networking) • Experience developing libraries and applications • Strong understanding of databases and data management • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and remotely • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Familiarity with networking concepts (nice to have) • Strong software testing background and discipline (nice to have) • Experience with AWS, Spark, Docker, K8s and other big-data technologies (nice to have)
