Description

• Continually assess organization's security posture relative to cyber threat landscape • Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect employees and assets • Monitor ticket queues, security telemetry, and threat feeds • Prioritize and oversee remediation of vulnerabilities • Configure and maintain security devices according to best practices • Assess network and cloud security posture • Investigate and respond to email phishing alerts • Enhance Security Awareness Training program • Lead cyber security initiatives and projects • Establish and report on key security metrics • Improve operational procedures for efficiency • Contribute to incident response planning, security policies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning • Respond to information security audit requests • Collaborate with IT professionals on cyber security best practices • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to critical security alerts • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in Information Technology • 3 years' as a SOC analyst or similar role • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Detail orientation and strong analytical problem-solving abilities • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and configuring network security devices • Experience with EDR and XDR services • Experience with Microsoft Defender Security suite • Scripting/query language experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, KQL) • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Sumo Logic • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST
