📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, notices, powers of attorney, agreements, and other legal documents • Provide legal analysis of the company’s operations and legal opinions and guidance to business units • Prepare responses to extrajudicial notices, Procon inquiries, and requests from other regulatory authorities • Monitor judicial and administrative proceedings and manage information in coordination with external law firms • Participate in conciliation hearings, evidentiary hearings, and other procedural acts, representing the company where applicable • Develop legal strategies with external law firms, monitor proceedings, and propose solutions • Conduct research on legislation, legal doctrine, and case law • Review legal documentation related to the company’s operations • Prepare technical materials to support the company’s defense in judicial and administrative proceedings • Identify and proactively mitigate legal risks • Support regulatory compliance, compliance, and data protection initiatives • Advise internal teams on legal matters • Monitor legal department metrics and propose improvements • Organize and update physical and digital legal files

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) • Initial experience in civil litigation and/or corporate legal advisory • Experience with contracts and providing legal advice to business units • Experience in consumer law, financial institutions, fintechs, or the credit market is preferred • Knowledge of Civil Law • Knowledge of Civil Procedural Law • Knowledge of Consumer Law • Contract drafting and review • Management of judicial and administrative proceedings • Case law research • Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word • Knowledge of legal case management platforms such as ProJuris, Legal One, CPJ, or similar tools is preferred • Knowledge of Zendesk and Google Workspace is preferred
