📋 Description

• Support data management activities including receipt, transfer, loading, validation, quality assurance, cleanup, organization, availability, and governance of files and data • Monitor data intake and output workflows through the Geophysical Data Network (RDG), client systems, and approved Katalyst tools • Perform operational procedures, complete checklists, conduct basic quality checks, and execute approved commands and scripts under guidance • Maintain accurate time tracking and support timely handling of billing-related information • Update control systems, spreadsheets, activity records, indicators, and operational documentation • Identify, record, and escalate errors, inconsistencies, routine data issues, and technical concerns • Support data preparation, basic reporting, storage monitoring, disk usage review, workflow progress tracking, and data quality reporting • Follow information security, confidentiality, and data governance standards • Communicate with client personnel, Katalyst operational staff, and project team members to support project delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of data transfer concepts, file organization, and data loading processes • Willingness to learn Katalyst and client-specific systems • Basic understanding of seismic, non-seismic, well data, related documents, and file formats • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures accurately • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with basic proficiency in English • Ability to identify routine problems, document findings, cross-reference information, and escalate issues appropriately • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support shared project goals • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook • Basic knowledge of Linux commands for browsing, querying, and copying files • Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language • Basic knowledge of file integrity checking and quality control concepts • Strategic thinking and analytical capacity • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism in a client-focused environment • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in data management, geophysical or subsurface data support, data loading, data transfer, technical operations, or a related analytical environment • Undergraduate degree in data management, geoscience, information technology, databases, or a related field preferred
