Description

• Work on the open source Service Mesh Kuma GUI and Kong Mesh GUI. • Collaborate with designers and engineers for the evolution of the UX of our GUIs. • Show passion and determination to always be up to date with the latest industry trends • Introduce new features and functionality to Konnect, Kong Mesh and Kuma GUIs • You will be embedded in the core team this will require a high level of ownership and autonomy as your peers’ primary skills won’t be UI development. • Understand deeply the product as a user to be able to suggest GUI improvements or better troubleshooting tools. • Be active in the Kuma community.

Requirements

• Empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things with a high level of pragmatism. • 3+ years of programming front-end applications and components with Vue.js or equivalent. • Experience designing, prototyping, building, and debugging data-intensive frontends. • Ability to work as a team on API specifications. • Comfortable with Git and Github workflows. • Comfortable working with a remote and distributed team in a time zone with working hours between UTC-5 (EST) and UTC+2 (SAST). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - engineers at Kong write the documentation for their products.
