📋 Description

• Serve as the engineering anchor for a product initiative • Shape problems and decide the technical approach • Own architecture, data model, integrations, rollout plan, observability, and rollback strategy • Direct AI agents to implement production code and write sensitive code manually when needed • Establish prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loops for safe, correct, production-ready code • Ship initiatives end-to-end from problem framing through production and post-launch metric review • Partner daily with the PM on scope and tradeoffs and with the designer on UX decisions and in-tool prototyping • Collaborate regularly with engineering peers and attend weekly check-ins with the EM • Present initiative results 2–4 weeks after launch • Ensure production correctness, security, performance, observability, and customer and pro experience • Ship 3–4 initiatives in the first year and measure their outcomes • Create reusable runbooks, evals, agent workflows, and post-launch write-ups

🎯 Requirements

• Daily production experience using Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent AI coding agents • Real opinions and experience with prompts, evals, agent loops, and review workflows • Experience operating at a lead level, making technical calls, shipping difficult work, and owning outcomes • Outcome-driven approach focused on metrics and customer experience • Ability to partner horizontally with PMs, designers, and engineering peers in a shared codebase • Ability to make and document architecture, data-model, and rollout decisions • Ability to create reusable artifacts such as agent workflows, evals, runbooks, and post-launch reviews • Customer- and pro-minded approach • Deep skill in at least one of the listed technology stacks • Credible production experience with AI coding agents • Experience with AI agents including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, internal agent stack, MCP servers, and evals tooling • Experience with backend technologies PHP/Laravel • Experience with frontend technologies TypeScript, React, and React Native • Experience with data technologies Redshift, dbt, Segment, and Airflow • Experience with infrastructure and tooling AWS, Datadog, Sentry, and GitHub Actions • Experience with Brain, Confluence, and Jira
