📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 500 tax cases of medium complexity, involving administrative and judicial matters; • Oversee the technical management of tax litigation with external law firms, monitoring deadlines, strategies and deliverables; • Review court filings and support the definition of legal strategies together with the internal team; • Manage relationships with partner law firms, ensuring technical and operational alignment of matters; • Interface with internal departments and external providers to obtain documents, information and inputs necessary for case progress; • Monitor expert examinations, diligences and other activities related to tax litigation; • Prepare management reports, executive presentations and periodic reports for management and the board of directors; • Support the control of contingencies, provisions and responses to internal and external audits; • Update internal controls and case-tracking systems, ensuring the quality of the portfolio information.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree with active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association); • Experience in Tax Litigation, with involvement in administrative and judicial proceedings; • Experience managing case portfolios and liaising with external law firms; • Technical ability to review court filings and to discuss legal strategies; • Experience with contingencies, provisions, audits and preparation of management reports is a plus; • Experience in legal departments of large companies and/or law firms specialized in Tax Law is a plus; • Excellent analytical skills, organizational abilities and capacity to manage a high volume of matters; • Strong communication skills and ease in interacting with different stakeholders; • Hands-on profile, high level of autonomy, strong sense of priorities and ability to operate in a high-complexity environment.
