📋 Description

• Credit litigation, judicial and extrajudicial reorganization, and bankruptcy: drafting court filings (claims and disputed claims, objections, motions, appeals, enforcement actions, defenses to enforcement, repossession actions, actions for reinstatement of possession, declaratory/annulment/interim relief actions, and actions to hold shareholders and directors liable), defining and implementing litigation strategy (including client communication), enforcement of guaranties/collateral, participation in hearings and creditors’ meetings, and case management; • Drafting and reviewing judicial and extrajudicial reorganization/restructuring plans, and negotiating with debtors/creditors on debt restructuring; • Oral advocacy and representation before specialized trial courts and appellate courts; • Due diligence of legal proceedings related to credit and collateral, including M&A transactions with a debt component; • Legal intelligence: monitoring case law and legislation, drafting legal opinions and memoranda, and producing content (articles, bulletins, presentations); • Monitoring and management of deadlines and official publications.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree completed between December 2018 and July 2021. • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) – São Paulo section; • Advanced/Fluent English; • Experience in contentious and advisory matters in Restructuring and Insolvency, including credit recovery enforcement and related proceedings, as well as bankruptcy, judicial reorganization, and extrajudicial reorganization proceedings; • Excellent legal drafting skills for court pleadings and legal opinions.
