Description

• As part of the executive team, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Life360 will help shape strategy and play a critical role in the evolution of the company’s technology roadmap. • Reporting to COO Lauren Antonoff, you will help build, develop, and grow a world-class engineering team. • Nuture and Grow a high performing Engineering Organization. • Thought Leadership - Actively participate in shaping vision and strategy. • Deliver an Exceptional User Experience - Be a champion for Life360 customers. • Develop a Culture of Experimentation - Establish a practice around continuous improvement. • Build Innovation Velocity - Evolve the current engineering practices. • Lead through Change - Prepare the engineering team to embrace change as an opportunity.

Requirements

• CTO or comparable experience leading large globally distributed teams. • Passion and track record for shipping innovative and delightful consumer experiences. • A combination of public company and startup experiences. • Experience in hiring, building, and mentoring world-class engineering teams to 100 headcount and beyond. • Experience in shipping mobile-first consumer or customer-facing products. • Experience in developing full-stack solutions encompassing cloud, iOS, Android, and Web tech stacks. • Experience with requirements around security, compliance, and international expansion. • Experience in creating a forward-looking plan, optimizing budgets, and communicating trade-offs. • Proven track record in a remote-first company and techniques that leverage these advantages.
