• We are looking for a talented Product Manager to lead the design and development of Loam’s carbon project management product, SecondCrop. A SecondCrop project is a partnership between a grower and Loam, to run an emissions reduction project on their farmland, based on rigorous methodologies and Loam’s microbial products. Our goal is to build a platform that enables scalable project management and provides growers and Loam’s own teams with a great experience, throughout the entire 25-plus-year life of a project. • As a Product Manager within the Data and Technology team, your responsibility is the product design and management of the digital platform that enables SecondCrop. You will work closely with Loam’s business units, and particularly closely with domain specialists in carbon project methodology, compliance, and project operations. You will be responsible for understanding our various internal and external user groups, designing user journeys, and building detailed requirements. You will be part of a software development team, working closely with software developers and UX resources to deliver regular feature improvements via an Agile methodology. • This is a remote position, to be based in the Australian Eastern Daylight time zone.
• Proven significant experience in product management including product design for new products. • Experience working in software engineering environments with direct involvement and leadership within a software engineering team. • A background in agriculture or agtech environments is considered advantageous. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working effectively in a cross-functional team. • Experience in facilitating communication skills, essential for bridging technical and sector-specific knowledge • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field
