Description

• Configure and maintain VMWare environments • Configure and maintain internal systems • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues • Upgrade servers, devices, and network infrastructure • Manage and upgrade storage environments • Establish tools that will drive efficiency • Monitor the performance of servers, software and hardware • Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications

Requirements

• Experience with iSCSI or Fibre Channel backend connectivity • Experience with the latest versions of vSphere i.e. 6.7 and 7.x • Experience with Disaster Recovery solutions such as Zerto/vSphere SRM (Site Recovery Manager)  • Work experience as a Senior System Administrator • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks • Knowledge of system security techniques • Good problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to use a wide variety of tools to manage systems and applications • Experience with IT operations • Strong grasp of automation tools • Data management skills • A strong focus on business outcomes • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders • Coding or scripting to support  • Process re-engineering • Communicating and collaborating with others • Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision • Desire to deliver the best solutions for the need • Ownership of any output delivered • Ability to use data to drive decisions
