Description
• You will operate as a key member of your squad and provide strong leadership to ensure the timely implementation of its objectives as we move towards an event-driven microservices architecture and expand our technical capabilities across the entire engineering team. You will be working on core components of a greenfield project, helping to bring to life the technical vision of a brand new B2B e-commerce platform, aimed at bringing the Lyka brand to businesses across Australia! • Be a thought leader. Bringing new ideas to the table, challenging our existing processes and direction to help bring the best out in your squad • Bring strong knowledge and understanding of contemporary software development practices, principles & design patterns • Use your strong problem-solving and analytical skills to help us develop the best software solution • Effectively communicate within your team and with cross-functional stakeholders across the business • Work effectively as part of a coding pair • Use agile development methodologies in your ways of working
Requirements
• 5+ years experience working as a Software Engineer in a high-growth scale-up or start-up • AWS Cloud development (including AWS Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB) • NodeJS (TypeScript) • Serverless architecture (ideally using CDK) • Test Driven Development using Jest/Vitest • Version Control using Github or Bitbucket • Building delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar • Experience with microservices & event-driven architectures Nice to have: • Continuous integration and continuous delivery • PHP & Laravel • VueJS 3 • Nuxt3 • Tailwind CSS • End-to-end testing using Playwright or Cypress (we use Playwright)
