📋 Description

• Own and develop the company’s Long-Range Plan, including base, stretch, and market-specific upside/downside scenarios • Prepare assumptions packs and documentation relied on by leadership and the board • Build audit-ready models for market entry, unit economics, distribution cost structures, and funding scenarios • Partner directly with the Head of Strategic Finance on executive-visible workstreams • Identify and resolve balance sheet and cash flow tie-out breaks before executive review • Support monthly and quarterly FP&A cycles, including budget-versus-actual variance analysis, performance commentary, and reporting packs • Help migrate planning processes into Anaplan • Structure models and incomplete business problems before developing calculations • Analyse ECL questions and other strategic finance workstreams

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable experience building complex three-statement models from scratch under deadline pressure • Investment banking, transaction services, or similarly rigorous modelling background is ideal • Fluency in how operational drivers flow through to financial statements • Relentless attention to detail • Ability to communicate assumptions and explain modelling logic clearly • Anaplan or another planning platform is helpful but not required • Exposure to fintech, lending, or consumer credit is helpful but not required • Experience across multi-currency, multi-entity African businesses is helpful but not required
