Description

• Conduct independent engineering / due diligence technical advisory reviews • Manage internal project teams performing the independent engineering / due diligence reviews • Provide QA/QC review of project team work and deliverables • Evaluate functionality and performance of clean energy technologies and projects • Identify gaps / needs and project risks of clean energy technologies and projects • Articulate recommendations for improvement • Work in teams and independently to provide engineering expertise • Draft, edit, and review independent engineering / due diligence reports • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication • Liaise with stakeholders • Manage project budgets and staffing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Masters’ degree in engineering or business is a plus • Background in clean energy, renewable energy, or power generation projects • Ability to prepare project org charts, Gantt charts, work breakdown structures (WBS) • Ability to review project financial models (pro formas) • Ability to review related contracts • Experience providing independent engineering, technical advisory, due diligence services • Minimum of 10 years’ experience practicing in this field • Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) preferred • Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
