📋 Description

• Extreme Product Ownership: Take complete end-to-end ownership of major product features. Design, build, test, ship, and iterate on them with zero handholding • Product-Facing AI Innovation: Actively research, suggest, and implement cutting-edge AI developments (such as predictive shipping insights, smart LLM integrations, or automated messaging) to level up our product offerings. • High-Velocity Feature Delivery: Architect, write, and deploy production-ready backend services and frontend experiences quickly and cleanly • AI-Accelerated Engineering: Seamlessly integrate Claude Code into your local development and CLI workflows to write tests, refactor, and build features at double the speed of traditional development • Shopify App Development: Own the lifecycle of public Shopify Apps, utilising App Bridge, Polaris, OAuth, webhooks, and complex Shopify APIs • Rapid Carrier Integrations: Build, deploy, and optimise high-throughput integrations connecting retailers, global carriers, 3PL platforms (such as Mintsoft), and third-party utility tools (such as SendGrid). You must be able to hook into carrier APIs quickly and efficiently, carrying a strong bias for execution to establish connections rapidly and without friction • Cloud Infrastructure & Scale: Leverage AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, CloudFront) to process enterprise-level order and tracking events reliably

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent English language skills, fluent in both written and oral forms • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. • Shipped Technical Experience & Shopify Mastery (Essential) • Production-Grade Shopify Experience: Extensive, hands-on experience building and shipping software against Shopify APIs (specifically GraphQL) in a live, commercial setting • Shopify App Store Track Record: Ideally, you have experience building and deploying public apps on the Shopify App Store and are familiar with the app submission and review process, rather than working solely on private, single-merchant apps. • Modern JavaScript Ecosystem: Deep proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. • Modern Front-End Skills: Production experience with React and Svelte, along with UI frameworks like Shopify Polaris • **Logistics & Operations Expertise (Essential**) • Operational Data Flows: A clear, practical understanding of e-commerce logistics. You must know how order, shipment, and inventory data flows between ERPs, WMS’, and storefronts • WMS Integration: Direct hands-on experience integrating with Mintsoft / PeopleVox (or equivalent), with a firm grasp of how it handles orders, inventory, and despatching • International Trade & Logistics: Familiarity with the commercial and logistical realities of cross- border shipping, including commercial invoices, customs documentation, and the implications of DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) vs. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) • **Mindset & Core Soft Skills** • Absolute Ownership & Forward-Thinking: You treat the product as your own. You proactively spot bottlenecks, suggest technical improvements, and push the boundaries of what our platform can do • AI-Driven Innovation: You keep a close eye on cutting-edge AI developments and enjoy brainstorming how modern AI capabilities can solve business problems or build better user experiences • Velocity, Bias for Action, and a Relentless Execution Mindset: A relentless focus on shipping high- quality code fast. You excel when utilising advanced CLI AI tools (like Claude Code) to build at speed, and you take pride in connecting complex APIs (especially shipping and carrier APIs) with zero fuss and maximum efficiency • Language Fluency: Strictly fluent in English (both written and spoken). You must be comfortable explaining complex technical structures and operational workflows clearly and concisely • Timezone Alignment: Must be available to work UK working hours (typically 09:00 to 17:30 GMT/BST) to ensure seamless collaboration with our primary merchant markets and team members. • **Nice-to-Have** • Scale: Prior experience working with high-volume, international e-commerce brands • 3PL Experience: Direct exposure to the day-to-day operations of third-party logistics providers (inbound freight, pick-and-pack fulfilment, returns management)
