Description

• Develop and structure advanced mathematics content for years 11 and 12 of the QLD (QCAA) Senior Curriculum, and VIC (VCE) Senior curriculum, ensuring it aligns with curriculum standards and is tailored to relevant exam preparation. • Review and incorporate existing Mathspace materials, modifying and updating as necessary for senior secondary levels. • Create comprehensive and challenging exam-style questions, focusing on a balance between procedural skills, conceptual understanding, and real-world application. • Craft detailed lesson plans and educational resources to complement question sets and enhance student learning. • Collaborate with our team to ensure content coherence and quality across all learning modules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or developing curriculum for years 11 and 12 mathematics. • Extensive knowledge of exam formats, question types, and assessment criteria relevant to senior secondary mathematics. • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a senior secondary setting, preferably with involvement in exam preparation or assessment design. • A collaborative and proactive work ethic, with a keen eye for detail. • Commitment to a minimum of 15-20 hours per week for the project duration. • Strong communication skills and adherence to project timelines. • Desirable: Background in coding or educational technology. • Desirable: Familiarity with recent changes in senior secondary mathematics curricula. • Desirable: Experience in a remote or digital education environment.
