📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs • Build and optimize microservices and distributed systems for high-volume applications • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams • Design and implement secure, scalable data models and database architectures • Integrate internal and external systems through RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures • Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy • Maintain engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and best practices • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous improvements • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development • Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or Go • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and backend services • Strong understanding of microservices architecture • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable system architecture • Experience with Git and modern development workflows • Experience working in financial services, fintech, banking, or payment systems preferred • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data protection best practices preferred • Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar preferred • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes preferred • Experience with monitoring and observability tools preferred • Knowledge of event-driven architectures preferred • Exposure to high-availability and mission-critical systems preferred • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development • Comfortable working with cross-functional and global teams • Experience with trading platforms, financial systems, or real-time data processing applications nice to have • Previous experience scaling enterprise-grade backend platforms serving large user bases nice to have
