Description

• Review vendor invoices, customer sales orders, and daily cash entries • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts • Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to obtain transaction information • Review and correct errors & inconsistencies in financial entries • Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports • Ensure accounting policies and principles are followed • Assist in collecting audit & tax information and preparing tax returns • Identify and execute process improvement initiatives • Calculate, file, and pay sales and use taxes • Provide backup support to other accounting team members • Assist with ad-hoc projects and management inquiries

Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance and Accounting or related field • 3-5 years accounting or related experience • NetSuite, Airbase, Floqast, and Salesforce experience a plus • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Detail oriented • Technical accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP principles • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Flexible to meet changing priorities • Thrives in a small team environment • Able to learn and build vs inherit existing processes & systems • Public accounting experience and/or licensed CPA preferred but not required
