• Develop and implement the company’s local government public sector strategy • Partner with executive leadership, marketing, and any marketing agencies to develop local government strategy • Manage public sector consulting partner relationship(s) • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with local government organizations • Build and maintain an opportunity pipeline within the CRM • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature • Establish and nurture strong relationships within the local government public sector market • Serve as an organizational SME on public sector market trends, regulations, and opportunities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings to public sector prospects and clients • Develop KPI metrics and reporting with the CFO and CEO umidslcmem
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field experience • At least five years of sales experience in employee benefit consulting, health plans, or employee benefit solutions • At least three years of public sector selling experience and developing strategic partnerships • High-degree of organizational astuteness and business acumen • Demonstrated strong leadership skills • Proven track record of delivering revenue in a complex, relational selling environment • Strategic thinker with the ability to utilize data and analytics to drive improved performance • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills • History of executing complex sales throughout the healthcare marketplace for a range of clients • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
