Description

• Own the development, testing and maintenance of Kik’s app • Ship reliable software through test automation and code reviews • Fix bugs and improve application performance • Be able to document the work and help plan for the future • Work with a small team to produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable and well-tested code • Partner with business stakeholders to deliver features on time and specification • Promote the adoption of new technologies while continuously advancing and evolving our legacy codebase as well as refine our best practices and processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of native android development experience. Additional software development experience is preferred but not required • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred but not required • Solid understanding Android tools (Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle) • Experience with Kotlin strongly preferred • Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills • Passionate about writing clean, well-organized and production-ready code • At least one application already built and in the Play Store
