• Own the day-to-day performance of a team of Data Associates across classification, attribution, and product-catalog workflows. • Coach associates from task-executors into data-driven critical thinkers. • Act as the first line of defense for quality, throughput, and SLAs. • Operate within the operating plan set by your Manager, run it relentlessly on the floor. • Surface insights and improvement ideas that make the plan better. • Monitor and manage team performance against KPIs, including throughput, accuracy, and quality benchmarks. • Serve as the first point of escalation for workflow or process-related issues. • Conduct regular quality reviews and provide actionable feedback. • Identify workflow inefficiencies and partner with managers, automation teams, and governance specialists to improve processes. • Coordinate team scheduling, task assignment, and workload balancing to meet daily and weekly targets. • Train new hires and ensure associates are up to date on classification guidelines, tools, and processes. • Report team status, coverage, productivity, and quality metrics to management. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Proactively identify and address problems before they escalate, while recognizing opportunities for efficiency, automation, and quality improvements. • Maintain 98%+ accuracy in ad classification, attribution, and catalog updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, information systems, or a related field. • 4+ years of professional experience in data operations, data quality, content processing, or shared-services roles. • 2+ years directly leading or managing a team, with a proven ability to coach, develop, and hold people accountable. • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume, detail-oriented workflows to tight quality and SLA standards. • Data Fluency: You can use raw data (advanced Excel, PowerBI, Looker) to track performance, spot bloat, and drive behavioral change in your team. • You anticipate challenges, resolve issues fast, and balance daily tactical delivery with a steady drumbeat of continuous improvement. • You actively mentor and elevate associates, guide them through ambiguous operational change, build actionable growth plans, and cultivate critical thinkers rather than task executors. • You treat accuracy as the baseline, not the goal. You uphold and strengthen QA frameworks—even with legacy tools—so that high-fidelity classification and first-time-right execution are non-negotiable. • (Good to have) Industry Context: Experience in media intelligence, ad-tech, data tagging, taxonomy management, or content moderation is a strong plus.
