• Drive the overall retail strategy and execution for our wholesale division • Manage and support existing sales reps & agencies while onboarding new reps/agencies to expand distribution in untapped markets • Manage, optimize, and grow Faire.com book of business - store optimization, merchandising strategy, and email marketing campaigns and promotions • Research, initiate, and foster new retail/key accounts to expand distribution • Be the main point of contact for key accounts, supporting their growth with promotions and other partnership opportunities to expand distribution and sales • Represent Alleyoop at key trade shows in the USA • Develop and analyze sales reports, market performance, and strategy based on data and market trends • Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure compliance on order fulfillment for key accounts • Ensure wholesale catalog & price sheets are refreshed semi-annually with new products & information by working closely with design & creative teams • Work closely with outside vendors (such as display manufacturers, print shops, etc) to ensure sales collateral and displays are in stock at all times
• 5+ years experience in retail sales and sales strategy • Experience leading the sales strategy for a consumer brand in retail channels (beauty industry experience is highly preferred) • Key account management experience is a huge plus (Sephora, Ulta, Target, etc) • Strong individual sales performance (double or triple-digit annual growth) in prior sales roles • Highly organized with excellent follow-through • Enjoys networking, understanding customer needs, and telling engaging stories • Experience with CRM and other sales tools • Experience with Faire.com is a plus • Functional strategy development and delivery experience; conversion of business insights/needs into sales strategy • Ability to think strategically and execute/problem-solve tactical issues • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage implementation and execution, along with an ability to analyze data and identify root causes • Communication skills (present ideas effectively, actively listen, and work across functional boundaries)
