• Develop concepts of operation, system architecture, and interfaces for Merlin products • Own significant pieces of system development activities • Participate in system verification and validation activities • Work across safety, hardware, and software teams • Participate in systems engineering development plans and processes • Review artifacts with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
• BS in Electrical/Aerospace/Systems Engineering or related subject, MS preferred • 5+ years of systems engineering experience in FAA/EASA/DOD certification programs (3+ years with MS degree) • Ability to solve complex architectural and systems engineering problems • Hands-on experience in certifying avionics equipment • Ability to develop System level requirements, architecture, and interfaces • Nice to have: Experience in Automatic Flight Controls, Flight Management, or Display Systems • Nice to have: Experience in developing software requirements and performing software verification • Nice to have: Working knowledge of FAA/EASA/DOD regulations and standards
